About Riverspace

RiverSpace is The Russian River's largest multipurpose concert, dance and
special event hall. Located in the town of Guerneville, it can accommodate
up to 600 guests.

Built in 1946, it was originally a movie palace called The River Theatre
but was renovated into a multi-tiered nightclub in the 1980's. Host to
fabulous — and infamous — parties during it¹s run as a gay nightclub, it
is now operated as the area¹s premiere entertainment venue, available for
public and private events.

RiverSpace is a very large, open air facility with 24 foot ceilings and
multiple levels. It features a large stage rigged with sound and lighting.
The stage faces out over a huge sunken area — perfect for dancing,
stand-up concerts or cabaret-style seating. Bankettes flank either side and
there is a raised control booth for DJ, sound and light.

A staircase leads from the stage area to the main level where a large bar is
located with up to six serving stations. Cabaret and cocktail height tables
and chairs are plentiful and can be arranged to suit any manner of event.
There are also three private alcoves off to the side which can be set up for
bottle service or other function.

There are two raised areas above the main floor. One features a billiards
table and the other features a second bar. From this bar another space can
be accessed and used as a VIP space or second dance floor.
